Current Research area

The major objectives of the proposed project are to immobilize metal oxide nanoparticles on the cellulose fiber surfaces by facile methods and study of their applications in packaging.

Academic  Background:

 

Miss Charu Agarwal is presently doing her M.Tech Dissertation on the topic “Paper based diagnostic tools for packaging applications” at Saharanpur campus, IIT Roorkee.

During her B.Tech., she carried out her dissertation on “Optimization of Chemical Treatment of Effluent from Waste Paper based Paper Mill for Maximum Recycle” – a collaborative study between Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, Nagpur and Earth care Laboratories, Nagpur in the academic year 2010 – 2011.
