Research interest: Organic Chemistry, Material Chemistry, organic-inorganic hybrid material Academic details: MSc. in Chemistry from University of Delhi, New Delhi BSc. (H) Chemistry, Hans Raj College, University of Delhi Current Research area The research is mainly focused on the synthesis, characterization and applications of nanoporous materials with hierarchical pore system made up of inexpensive hybrid inorganic-organic frameworks for the capture and separation of greenhouse gases like CO2 and CH4. The main emphasis is on the synthesis of high surface-area materials by simple condensation reaction. The experiments are designed to create hierarchical pore system, with micropores, mesopores and macropores embedded in the materials. Furthermore soft templates such as small zwitterionic molecules or block copolymers would be used to create the pore systems. The micro and mesopores would adsorb the gases while and the presence of macropores will be beneficial for the transport properties Work Experience July, 2012 – December, 2012 Lecturer in Echelon Institute of Technology Faridabad, India September 2009 - April 2010 Quality Control Analyst in Mother Dairy Delhi Achievements Qualified Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) JAM 2010 exam.
