Why there is no talk of morality during lectures?
We from the beginning of our respective journey of our study have been taught morality lessons whatever be the subject by our teachers.

But as we grow up this treatment is lessened and we are left with ourselves only.We are considered grown up and should act like adults. A sarcastic thought even our parents are given at times morality mantra, tips and lessons at times when they need by our grandparents.

But until we are being a part of the education system we should though once in every fortnight be encouraged by our respective course faculty to boost our performance and interest.
During the stay here I have seen only one such faculty member from MIEC deptt Dr. Inderdeep Singh who used to give a 2-5 minutes thought of word and suggestions during almost in every lecture and he successfully covered his course without any extra class.

According to him it was instructed to faculty members to do such morality lectures at regular basis but most proff consider it wastage or simply ignore it for the sake of completion of their course in time(of which they fail if they had not taken extra ones).

I think the essence of real teaching is lost if only teaching is done by the proff as waht they think they are doing during lecture hours.

My syllabus is so vast, if my profs take morality lectures after spending 10-15 min on attendance, I will take an extra year to complete my course!

According 2 me, it is very important to have such kind of talks from time 2 time. I remember the times when i was studying in an IIT-JEE coaching. Almost every teacher there gave some or the other kind of motivation in every class and I am damp sure that this kind of motivation improved my class' performance by 50%. And i moreover feel that if any one of my coaching teacher comes 2 IIT as a lecturer , he will definitely surpass all the profs who boast themselves to be iit faculty. We are but humans and indeed every kind of motivation given to us can make us rise to the top.

Are you confused between morality and motivation?

Morals are what make a person, their sense of right and wrong and is a major factor in what guides their everyday/long term decisions.

You did get most of motivation right though.
So, do you want motivating discussions or moral discussions?
